William Shakespeare
what should i do with my life
To ponder thus, what course my life should take, In this vast tapestry of fate entwined, Wherein each thread of joy and sorrow's ache Doth weave a pattern most uncommon, blind. Shall I, like Icarus, ascend too high, Embrace ambition's flame that melts the wax, Or tread the earth, with humble heart, and sigh As shadows dance in silence 'neath the pacts Of time and circumstance? Methinks the stars Do whisper secrets in their twinkling light; Yet man, a wanderer 'midst life's cruel wars, Must chart a path through day and into night. Should I in service find my purpose true, Or seek the passions that ignite the soul? For every choice begets a fate anew, A winding road through which we seek the whole. Lo! The question lingers, like a haunting sigh; What be the measure of a life well spent? In still reflection, let the heart reply, For in the seeking lies the true ascent. Thus, let me seize the day with open mind, Embrace the tempests, joys, and trials rife, For in the journey, purpose I shall find, And weave my story on the loom of life.
