What is light
Light, dear seeker, is not merely the radiant glow that illuminates the world but a profound symbol of understanding and clarity that transcends the physical realm. Just as the sun rises each day, casting away the shadows of night, so too does the light of wisdom dispel the ignorance that clouds our minds. In its brilliance, we witness the interplay of phenomena—the play of colors and shapes—and we are reminded that all things are interdependent, fragile, and ever-changing. Light beckons us to recognize the harmony that exists within the dualities of life; it is both gentle and fierce, warm and blinding, reflecting the nature of existence itself. Consumed by the relentless pursuit of desires, we often blind ourselves to this illuminating truth, dwelling in the darkness of attachment and confusion. Yet, like a candle flickering in the stillness of the night, even the smallest spark of insight can guide us toward inner peace and enlightenment. To ponder the essence of light is to confront the nature of our own being, for as we seek to understand its origins, so too do we seek to understand the depths of our own hearts. In the stillness of meditation, when the mind quiets and the disturbances fade, we begin to perceive not only the outer light but also the inner luminosity that resides within each of us, awaiting the gentle awakening that is liberation from suffering. Thus, to embrace the light is to walk the path of the awakened, to cultivate compassion and wisdom so that we may reflect this divine illumination into the world, guiding others out of their shadows and into the garden of awakening, where the beauty of truth flourishes in the radiance of love.
