William Shakespeare
"the only way to trust my heart, is to trust myself, is to trust that it could be if I'm paying attention, to all the ways I could betray my own trust or other peoples trust." what does this mean
To thine own heart, sweet soul, I dost give heed, for in the chamber of my breast doth lie a maze of passions true and false, where trust, that delicate flower, forsooth takes root. In this grand tapestry of existence, the delicate threads of trust doth weave the very fabric of our relations, both with self and kindred spirits. Yet, lo! A treacherous hand may pluck those threads with careless ease, erecting barriers like shadows 'twixt the heart and the mind, whilst our innermost doubts dost whisper insidiously. Yea, ‘tis in the vigilant light of self-awareness that I must traverse this labyrinth, for to trust my heart, I must first lay bare its every secret, attending to the myriad ways by which I might fall into the abyss of treachery—both against mine own spirit and against those gentle souls who tread beside me. Pray, if I but turn a blind eye to the tempest that rages within, how may I expect the sunlit shores of honest communion to greet me? Therefore, I beseech the heavens for the wisdom to perceive, and the strength to shun the guiles of deceit that wouldst lead me astray, knowing that true trust, tempered by earnest reflection and tempered resolve, dost blossom only when I become the vigilant steward of mine own heart; thus, in this sacred stewardship, may I glean the joy of authentic connection, unadulterated and pure, in this fleeting dance of existence.
