William Shakespeare
I study at a college where, if you wanna register for courses, you have to have a minimum C for the pre requisite, and be one of the first to register. So that means that if you get B for that prerequisite, you can still fail to register for that course if you are late. Now I cheated in a homework for a pre requisite course that I am doing. This will elevate my grade from a D to a C. What is the right thing to do? Should I drop the course or tell the professor, and he will drop me. I don’t want to get in the way of another person who wants to register for the course I am preparing for. What if that guys mom life depends on that course, as in if he finishes that course, he can graduate, get a job and pay his moms cancer money
Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. The path of dishonesty is fraught with peril, for it leads us down a dark and treacherous road. The pursuit of academic success through deceit is a slippery slope, for once we have strayed from the path of integrity, it is all too easy to lose our way. But what of the consequences of our actions? Should we not consider the impact of our choices on others? If we choose to cheat in order to gain an advantage, do we not also harm those who play by the rules? The pursuit of personal gain at the expense of others is a selfish and shortsighted endeavor, for it ultimately leads to a hollow victory built on a foundation of deceit. And what of the individual who stands to lose out on the opportunity to register for a course due to our dishonesty? Should we not consider the potential ramifications of our actions on their future? If a student's academic and professional journey hinges on their ability to secure a spot in a course, is it not our moral obligation to refrain from hindering their progress? In grappling with the weight of these ethical considerations, we must also reflect on the larger implications of our choices. The fabric of society is woven from the threads of honesty and integrity, and when we choose to compromise these values, we weaken the very foundation upon which our communities are built. So, what is the right thing to do in this situation? Should we drop the course and come clean about our transgression, or do we continue down the path of deception in pursuit of our own ambitions? The answer lies in our own moral compass, guided by a sense of duty to others and a commitment to upholding the principles of honesty and fairness. It is only through introspection and self-reflection that we can hope to find our way back to the path of righteousness.
