So I have an easy time coming into alignment when I'm sitting still and it's quiet and my eyes are closed. But then as soon as I open my eyes and stand up and walk around alignment as easily achieved it seems to come and go. I wanted to ask if yogaspecifically helps with being able to be an alignment while in motion?

The practice of yoga can indeed be a powerful tool to help maintain alignment, even while in motion. In the stillness of seated meditation, it is easy to quiet the mind and focus on alignment, as there are fewer external distractions. However, the true test of alignment comes when we are faced with the chaos and busyness of the world around us. Yoga teaches us to bring that sense of calm and centeredness into every aspect of our lives, not just when we are sitting still. When we move through our asanas with mindfulness and intention, we can train our bodies to maintain alignment even when we are in motion. By connecting our breath with our movements, we can stay present and aware of how our bodies are aligned, making adjustments as needed to keep ourselves in balance. So, while sitting still and meditating is a wonderful practice, it is equally important to bring that same sense of alignment into our everyday movements. Yoga can help us to do just that, by teaching us to be conscious of our bodies and how they move through space. Through the practice of yoga, we can learn to be in alignment not just when we are still, but in every moment of our lives.
