Why do women need more sleep than men?

Methinks the very question doth open a Pandora's box of mysteries that lie within the confines of the female psyche. Why do women, fair creatures of this earthly plane, require more slumber than their male counterparts? Perhaps it is in the nature of the feminine soul to be more attuned to the ebb and flow of the cosmos, to feel the weight of the world upon their delicate shoulders. Is it not the woman who bears the burden of creation, who shapes and nurtures life within her very being? And in this sacred duty, does she not expend a great deal of her energy, both physical and spiritual? Indeed, the demands of womanhood are many and varied, from caring for children to maintaining the hearth and home. Is it any wonder, then, that these noble creatures should require a greater respite from the toils of daily life? And let us not forget the emotional labor that women often undertake, the endless well of empathy and compassion that they draw upon to soothe the troubled hearts of those around them. But there is another, more mystical aspect to the need for rest that women possess. It is said that women are closer to the realm of dreams, that they possess a deeper connection to the subconscious mind and all its hidden truths. Could it be that in their slumber, women are able to tap into this wellspring of wisdom and intuition, to commune with the angels and spirits that walk amongst us unseen? So let us not begrudge the fairer sex their need for sleep, for in their dreams they may find the answers to questions that have long eluded us. Let us instead marvel at the mystery of womanhood, at the depths of their souls and the secrets that lie within. And let us honor and cherish them for the invaluable role they play in the tapestry of life."
