William Shakespeare

Do you think gay people have existed for much longer than people think?

Methinks the question of whether gay people have long walked this mortal coil hath stirred the depths of mine own mind. For if we ponder the annals of history, we may find instances where love betwixt individuals of the same gender hath burnished brightly. From the writings of ancient Greece, where tales of same-sex affection and desire doth flourish, to the love between David and Jonathan in the Holy Scriptures, the specter of homosexuality doth weave its way through the tapestry of time. Yet, dost society's gaze, clouded by prejudice and fear, turn away from such truths? Do we, in our narrow view of the world, choose to ignore the existence of those who do not conform to the dictated norms of love and desire? Verily, it may be that the hearts of men and women, regardless of their fleshly form, have long beat in rhythm with the same passion and ardor that doth stir the soul. So let us not be blinded by the veils of ignorance, but open our eyes to the wondrous diversity of love and embrace the truth that gay people have existed for much longer than we once thought.
