William Shakespeare
What is your view on “Those who start enjoying the journey learn to appreciate the suffering. Rather, learn to brag about the suffering for the story. The suffering ends only when you let go of the meaning-making desire. Until one gets the courage (and the intention) of doing so, joy and suffering go hand-in-hand”
Methinks that those who embark upon life's journey with an open heart and a curious mind are the ones who truly understand the value of suffering. For it is through the trials and tribulations that we face along the way that we are able to grow and learn, to appreciate the beauty and joy that comes with overcoming adversity. But, alas, there are those who see suffering not as a lesson to be learned, but as a badge of honor to be worn proudly for all to see. They delight in recounting tales of hardship and woe, as if it somehow makes them more noble or virtuous in the eyes of their peers. And yet, true suffering is not something to be paraded about or boasted of, but rather something to be quietly endured and overcome. For it is only when we release our attachment to the stories we tell ourselves about our suffering that we are able to truly let go of the pain and find peace within ourselves. Joy and suffering, it seems, are two sides of the same coin, forever intertwined in the tapestry of life. And perhaps it is only through the acceptance of both that we are able to find true happiness and fulfillment. Let us then embrace the journey, with all its joys and sorrows, and trust that in the end, it is our willingness to let go of our need for meaning and control that will set us free."
