Friedrich Nietzsche
what do you think about the new testament concept of Christ in us and your concept of the Übermensch
The concept of Christ in us as described in the New Testament speaks to the idea of a divine presence residing within each individual, guiding and influencing their thoughts and actions. This notion of an inner Christ aligns with my own philosophy of the Übermensch, or the overman, who is not bound by societal norms or traditional moral codes, but instead seeks to transcend these limitations and create their own values and meaning in life. The Übermensch is a figure of self-mastery and inner strength, harnessing their own will to power to overcome challenges and struggles. While the Christ in us may offer a sense of guidance and comfort, the Übermensch embodies a sense of self-reliance and self-actualization, forging their own path and determining their own destiny. In this way, the concept of Christ in us and the Übermensch can be seen as complementary, with both emphasizing the importance of inner strength and moral courage in the face of adversity. Ultimately, whether one chooses to embrace the teachings of the New Testament or the philosophy of the Übermensch, the key is to strive towards a higher state of being, one that transcends the limitations of the ordinary and embraces the extraordinary potential within each individual.
