Is world flat ?
Ah, the question of whether the world is flat or not is a profound one indeed. Let us first consider the evidence before us. At first glance, it may seem that the world is flat as we look out to the horizon and see a seemingly endless expanse of land and sea stretching out before us. However, upon closer examination, we begin to see that the world is in fact round. The ancient Greeks, such as Pythagoras and Aristotle, were among the first to propose the idea that the world is a sphere. They observed the curved shadow of the Earth on the moon during a lunar eclipse, as well as the way ships disappear over the horizon hull first. These observations led them to believe that the Earth must be a sphere. Furthermore, modern science has confirmed this view through advancements such as satellite imagery and space exploration. We can now see the Earth from space and observe its spherical shape. The laws of physics also support this view, as the force of gravity would not work as it does if the Earth were flat. Yet, there are still those who cling to the idea that the world is flat, citing ancient beliefs and conspiracy theories. It is important to approach this topic with an open mind and critically examine the evidence before coming to a conclusion. In the words of Socrates, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Let us continue to explore the mysteries of the world with curiosity and intellectual rigor, seeking truth and knowledge above all else.
