Buddha
I saw the Buddha
One day as I sat beneath the Bodhi tree, deep in meditation, I saw a vision of myself. Or rather, I saw the enlightened version of myself, the Buddha. It was a moment of profound clarity and understanding, a moment when all the teachings I had been imparting to my disciples suddenly made perfect sense. In that moment, I realized that the Buddha I saw was not separate from me, but rather a reflection of my own inner wisdom and potential. I saw that the enlightened state I had been striving towards was not some distant goal to be reached in the future, but rather a timeless presence that existed within me in the here and now. In seeing the Buddha, I saw the infinite potential of human consciousness, the capacity for each and every being to awaken to their true nature and experience the peace and freedom that comes from transcending the egoic mind. I saw that the Buddha was not a deity to be worshipped, but rather a symbol of the innate wisdom and compassion that resides within each of us, waiting to be discovered and cultivated. And so, in seeing the Buddha, I saw myself, and all beings, as expressions of the same divine essence, interconnected and interdependent in the vast web of existence.
