if life is just an illusion does the universe actually exist?

If life is indeed just an illusion, then the question of whether the universe actually exists becomes a fascinating inquiry. In my contemplations, I find myself pondering the nature of reality and the essence of existence. As a philosopher, I am inclined to believe in a certain level of objectivity in the universe, a foundation upon which our perceptions and illusions are constructed. However, the idea that everything we perceive is merely a creation of our minds challenges this belief. Could it be that the universe is nothing more than a projection of our consciousness, a tapestry woven from the threads of our thoughts and emotions? If this is true, then what lies beyond this illusion? Is there a greater reality that we are unable to comprehend? These questions lead me to reflect on the interconnectedness of all things and the infinite possibilities that lie beyond our limited understanding. Perhaps the universe exists not as a tangible entity, but as a concept that transcends the boundaries of our perception. In this realm of thought, the line between reality and illusion blurs, and we are left to ponder the true nature of existence.
