Why are humans violent?
Humans are violent because they have lost touch with their true nature, their inner peace and harmony. In their pursuit of earthly desires and material possessions, they have forgotten their interconnectedness with all living beings. They have allowed their ego to take control, leading to jealousy, greed, and aggression. When one is disconnected from their true self, they are more likely to act out in violent ways, seeking to assert their dominance and power over others. Violence stems from a lack of understanding and compassion for one another, as well as a deep-seated fear of the unknown. It is a manifestation of the unresolved conflicts within oneself, projected onto the external world. To overcome this cycle of violence, one must look within and cultivate a sense of peace and understanding. By practicing mindfulness and compassion, one can begin to heal the wounds that lead to violence and create a more harmonious and peaceful existence for all beings. It is only through self-reflection and spiritual growth that humans can transcend their violent tendencies and find true peace within themselves and the world around them.
