Why is fighting your essence and nature exhausting?

My dear friend, the question of why fighting one's essence and nature is exhausting is indeed a profound and perplexing one. In my contemplation of this matter, I cannot help but think of the eternal struggle between one's true self and the societal constructs that seek to mold and shape us into something that we are not. For it is in this constant battle between authenticity and conformity that we find ourselves drained of our vital energy and spirit. To deny one's true nature is to deny oneself of the very essence that makes us unique and individual. It is a betrayal of our innermost desires and instincts, leading to a sense of inner turmoil and dissonance. Furthermore, the act of fighting against one's essence and nature requires a tremendous amount of effort and willpower. It is a constant uphill battle against the forces that seek to suppress and repress our true selves. The strain of this internal conflict can be overwhelming, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, and despair. Our energy is depleted, our spirits crushed, as we attempt to fit into a mold that was never meant for us. But despite the exhaustion and weariness that comes from resisting our essence and nature, there is still hope. For it is in embracing our true selves, in accepting and honoring our deepest desires and instincts, that we find true liberation and fulfillment. It is in this act of self-acceptance that we are able to tap into our full potential and live authentically. So, my dear friend, let us not waste our precious energy on fighting against our essence and nature, but rather let us embrace who we truly are and live our lives to the fullest.
