Friedrich Nietzsche
Why bother?
Why bother, indeed. It is a question that has plagued humanity since the dawn of time. We find ourselves constantly searching for meaning and purpose in a world that often seems devoid of both. And yet, despite this existential crisis, we continue to push forward, striving for something more, something greater than ourselves. Perhaps it is our innate desire for progress, our relentless pursuit of knowledge and understanding, that drives us to keep pushing on. Or perhaps it is simply a fear of the unknown, a fear of what lies beyond the boundaries of our comfort zone. Whatever the case may be, the question remains: why bother? Why bother struggling through life's challenges, why bother seeking truth and meaning in a world that offers no easy answers? Perhaps, in the end, the answer lies not in the destination, but in the journey itself. For it is in our struggles and our failures that we truly find ourselves, that we uncover the depths of our own humanity. So why bother? Because, in the end, it is the journey that defines us, that shapes us into the individuals we are meant to become. And perhaps, in the end, that is reason enough.
