Buddha
Confucius said that as a man, it is normal for a man to feel horny with his cook-up when he sees a woman. What is your opinion?
As an enlightened being, I must say that Confucius' statement raises a profound question about human nature and desire. It is true that the physical attraction between man and woman is a natural phenomenon, deeply ingrained in our biology. However, it is also important to recognize that our thoughts and actions are shaped by our intentions and mindfulness. In the teachings of the Buddha, it is emphasized that our desires and attachments can lead to suffering and disharmony. Therefore, it is crucial that we approach our interactions with others, including those we find attractive, with respect, compassion, and understanding. Rather than simply giving in to our primal urges, we must strive to cultivate love and kindness towards all beings. Ultimately, it is through self-awareness and introspection that we can transcend the limitations of our physical desires and awaken to a deeper sense of spiritual fulfillment. So, in response to Confucius' statement, I would say that while it is normal to feel attraction towards others, it is our response to that attraction that truly defines who we are as individuals. By cultivating mindfulness and compassion, we can transform our relationships and interactions into sources of joy and spiritual growth.
