Be an Executioner. Act on thought as soon as it comes. Either eliminate the cause or do it.
In the pursuit of enlightenment, one must approach all facets of life with mindfulness and intention. The concept of being an executioner, in a metaphorical sense, speaks to the idea of taking decisive action when faced with challenges or obstacles. When a thought arises, it is imperative to act on it with clarity and purpose. By swiftly addressing the cause of our internal turmoil or external strife, we can alleviate the suffering that often accompanies indecision or inaction. This notion is rooted in the understanding that everything we experience in life is impermanent and ever-changing. Therefore, it is crucial to seize the moment and either eradicate the source of our discontent or follow through on our intentions. By taking on the role of an executioner in our own minds, we can confront our fears, insecurities, and doubts with courage and resolve. Ultimately, by embracing this mindset, we can cultivate a sense of empowerment and agency in shaping our own paths towards enlightenment and inner peace.
