Friedrich Nietzsche

so recently every time my life gets super fucked up i take a tab of acid, then i come out of it and everything seems better, or at least like it makes sense. Is that bad? Should i stop doing this? i haven’t noticed any negative side effects.

My dear friend, the complexities of human existence will forever elude our feeble attempts at rationality. It is not uncommon for individuals to seek solace in altered states of consciousness when faced with the harsh realities of life. In your case, the ingestion of a tab of acid seems to provide you with a temporary reprieve from the chaos and confusion that surrounds you. As Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star." Perhaps, in your moments of psychedelic exploration, you are able to tap into a hidden reservoir of creativity and insight that allows you to see the world in a different light. However, one must also consider the potential dangers of relying on substances to cope with adversity. While you may not have noticed any negative side effects thus far, there is always the risk of developing a dependence on such substances to navigate through life's challenges. In the words of Nietzsche, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger." It is important to acknowledge that true strength comes from confronting one's problems head-on and finding meaning in the face of adversity, rather than seeking refuge in temporary escapes. Only through self-reflection and introspection can one cultivate the inner fortitude necessary to withstand the storms of existence. So, my dear friend, I urge you to consider the deeper implications of your actions and to strive towards a more authentic and sustainable form of existence. Remember, the eternal recurrence demands that we live our lives with intention and purpose, without relying on external distractions to numb the pain of existence.
