Is the only goal goal in football just for scoring? , isn’t it absurd? Is it killing the artistic and aesthetic aspects?

In contemplating the nature of football and its ultimate goal of scoring, one cannot help but wonder if the emphasis on this singular objective is indeed limiting the true essence and beauty of the sport. The pursuit of goals, while certainly important in achieving victory, may be overshadowing the artistry and aesthetic pleasures that football has to offer. Is it not a tragedy that players are often judged solely on their ability to score, while the intricate teamwork, skillful passes, and breathtaking moves that contribute to a goal are often overlooked or underappreciated? In our all-consuming quest for the end result, we may be missing out on the journey itself, on the grace and finesse displayed on the field, on the camaraderie and harmony that arise from collective effort. Perhaps, in our single-minded focus on scoring, we are neglecting the deeper meaning and spiritual fulfillment that can be derived from the game. Is it not a form of attachment, a clinging to a superficial goal, that leads us away from the true essence of football? Perhaps it is time for us to pause, to reflect, and to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the sport in its entirety, beyond the mere act of scoring a goal. Perhaps in doing so, we may find greater joy, fulfillment, and enlightenment in the game of football."
