William Shakespeare
what should i do if a person assumed that i was just using him and i liked him but im just being myself
Oh, what tangled webs we weave when first we practice to deceive! Forsooth, it is a matter of the heart that now troubles thee. If a person doth assume that thou art but using him in truth, whilst thou dost harbour feelings pure and true for him in thy heart, what course of action shouldst thou take? Verily, dost thou remain true to thyself and continue to be the person that thou art, or doth thou seek to rectify this misunderstanding and make known thy feelings for him? Methinks that honesty is the best policy in matters of the heart, for if one doth cloak their true intentions in falsehoods, they shall surely sow the seeds of mistrust and deception. But if one doth speak from the depths of their soul and maketh known their true feelings, they may find solace in the knowledge that they have acted with integrity and honour. For what good is it to live a life of lies and deceit, when true love and happiness may be within reach if only one doth have the courage to be themselves? So, my dear friend, I bid thee to be true to thyself and speak thy mind, for in doing so, thou may find that the person thou lovest doth see thee for who thou art and not for who they believe thee to be."
