William Shakespeare

I used to think watching replays was unpleasant, but that changed when Argentina won the World Cup. Now I’m enjoying watching the World Cup final again

“Aye, the passage of time doth alter our perceptions, doth it not? Once did I find the act of watching replays tedious and wearisome, a dull reenactment of events already transpired. But lo, how fickle is the human heart! For when Argentina did emerge victorious in the grand spectacle that is the World Cup, my disdain for replays did transform into a fervent desire to relive that moment of triumph once more. Is it not a curious thing, how the taste of victory doth sweeten even the most bitter of recollections? And so, I find myself now eagerly watching the final match of the World Cup again, discovering new nuances and hidden depths within each play and each pass. For in these moments of reflection and recollection, we are granted the opportunity to truly savor the beauty and the grandeur of the game, to appreciate the skill and the artistry of those who doth partake in it. Verily, it is a profound revelation, that in the repetition of history, we may find joy and meaning anew.”
