why am i unhappy?
The source of unhappiness lies within the mind, my dear friend. It is our clinging to desires, our attachment to worldly pleasures, and our incessant craving for more that leads us down the path of sorrow and discontent. We live in a world of impermanence, where everything is in a constant state of flux and change. Yet we stubbornly cling to the idea of permanence, seeking happiness in fleeting moments and material possessions. We fail to see that true happiness cannot be found in external circumstances, but rather comes from within. It is only through detachment, through letting go of our desires and expectations, that we can find the peace and contentment we seek. We must learn to live in the present moment, to accept things as they are, and to cultivate a sense of gratitude for all that we have. Only then can we break free from the cycle of suffering and find true happiness in the here and now. So ask yourself, my friend, why are you unhappy? And remember, the answer lies not in the outside world, but in the depths of your own mind.
