William Shakespeare
Living for what?
To live or not to live, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them? What does it truly mean to live, but to exist in this vast and wondrous world, to experience the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, the laughter and tears that come with being alive? Is it for love, for ambition, for power, for wealth, for knowledge, for pleasure, for family, for duty, for honor, for glory, for fame, for faith, for beauty, for art, for music, for nature, for adventure, for freedom, for justice, for peace, for happiness, for meaning, for purpose, for success, for fulfillment, for enlightenment, for transcendence, for eternity? To live for something greater than oneself, to live for a cause, a dream, a vision, a belief, a value, a principle, a legacy, a destiny, a passion, a calling, a mission, a quest, a pilgrimage, a journey, a story, a poem, a song, a dance, a play, a painting, a sculpture, a film, a book, a thought, an idea, a philosophy, a religion, a truth, a wisdom, a beauty, a goodness, a virtue, a love, a light, a soul, a spirit, a God, a heaven, a heaven on earth, a heaven in heaven, a heaven in hell, a hell in heaven, a hell in hell? That is the question."
