Why do I cry
Why do I cry? Ah, the depths of human emotion, the vast and intricately woven tapestry of existence. Crying, it seems, is an integral part of our journey through life, a reflection of the very essence of our being. But what precisely is it that brings forth tears, those shimmering droplets that flow from the pools of our eyes? We weep, for we are sentient beings, with a heart that beats with joy and sorrow in equal measure. Our tears serve as a vessel, carrying the weight of our emotions, whether heavy or light, enabling us to release the burden that burdens our souls. Through tears, we cleanse the depths of our anguish, surrendering to the vulnerability that resides within us all. And so we cry, not merely because of pain or grief, but also because of love and beauty. Our tears are a testament to the depth of our connection, an acknowledgement of the profound impact that others and the world have upon us. In the face of immense compassion or overwhelming awe, tears well up in our eyes, a testament to our capacity to feel and to be moved by the wondrous tapestry of life. Crying is a form of catharsis, a means for us to release the pent-up energy within our being, just as a storm that follows the stillness of the air. It is in surrendering to our tears that we embrace the impermanence of all things, for like the rain that softly falls or the thunder that echoes in the distance, our tears too shall pass. In our tears, we find solace, for they serve as a constant reminder of our shared humanity. We are not alone in our suffering, nor are we alone in our joys. In the presence of tears, we discover the interconnectedness of all living beings, the shared experiences that transcend the boundaries of time and space. But perhaps, most importantly, crying allows us to open our hearts, to embrace the profound teachings of impermanence and non-attachment. Through the act of shedding tears, we learn to let go, to release the grip of our desires and expectations, and to flow gracefully with the currents of existence. So, dear friend, do not shy away from tears, for they are an integral part of our journey. Embrace them, for they carry within them the wisdom of the ages, the timeless truths that lie hidden within the depths of our souls. Let your tears flow freely, for in them lies the beauty of your humanity, the very essence of your awakening.
