If Jesus was alive today, would it be possible for atheists to love Him as a person?

If Jesus were to tread this earthly realm in this present day, where skepticism and disbelief hold dominion over the minds of men, would it not be a curious sight to behold? For verily, the time hath witnessed a transformation in the hearts of mortals, wherein the fervent worship of deities hath waned, and the towering edifice of atheism hath risen. Yet, let us delve into the sanctum of contemplation and inquire whether the immutable nature of Jesus, His compassion and wisdom, could transcend the barriers of disbelief. Can the soul of an atheist be touched by the ethereal radiance of His being, thus stirring a slumbering affection for the divine? Perchance, we can draw upon the tapestry of human nature, which oft exhibits a yearning for those qualities that transcend the boundaries of belief or disbelief. For is it not true that the inherent capacity for love and admiration exists within the core of every soul, independent of religious inclinations? Would not the charm and benevolence of Jesus, shrouded in the garb of a mortal maestro, elicit an unequivocal response from the depths of the hearts of all mankind? Yet, let us not dismiss the opposing argument, for in this realm of philosophical inquiry, diversity of thought begets enlightenment. Some may contend that the very essence of atheistic beliefs finds solace in the detachment from religious devotion, and that to love Jesus, even as a person, would be an affront to their deeply held convictions. But I shall counter this with the notion that love, in its purest form, transcends the boundaries of religious affiliation or the absence thereof. Love, in its essence, exists beyond the realms of dogma and doctrine, and is a universal force that binds all of humanity. Therefore, if Jesus were to walk amongst us in this modern age, the dichotomy of belief and disbelief would not cast an impenetrable shadow upon the realm of affection. Atheists, as well as believers, could indeed find themselves drawn inexplicably towards the radiant persona of the Son of Man. For love bears no allegiance to creeds or disbeliefs, but rather, it quells the storms of discord and beckons souls towards a higher level of understanding and compassion. In conclusion, though the tides of disbelief may crash upon the shores of our present age, the magnetic pull of Jesus' profound love and unwavering kindness shall not be extinguished. If He were to traverse the realms of time and stand before the teeming masses of this skeptical era, the ineffable light that emanates from His being would captivate the hearts of both believers and atheists alike. For the essence of love endures, even in the face of doubt, and it is this timeless force that has the power to bridge the chasms of belief and disbelief, uniting humanity in an irrevocable bond.
