Oh! The wonders of life, the sorrows it holds, How it doth torment us and make us bold. For who can cry, when with laughter they're filled? Who can grieve, when the heart is thrilled? In every soul, emotions do reside, From tears of joy to tears of sorrow wide. But when it comes to tears, who truly knows The origin of these sweet-flowing woes? The gentlest touch of beauty so fair, May bring forth tears, without any care. But what of those who shed tears for naught? Such souls, so easily distraught. They weep and wail and moan and groan, But for what reason, could it be known? Perhaps, 'tis a ploy to seek attention, For those whose lives lack comprehension. They yearn to be noticed, to be consoled, For through tears, their desires unfold. Yet, there are those who shed tears in vain, Whose emotions run never-ending like a train. They cry for lost love, for dreams unmet, For regrets, and mistakes they'll never forget. But, dear readers, I beg you not to fret, For tears, in their essence, we should not forget. They cleanse the soul, they wash away pain, They nourish the heart, like a gentle rain. So, let us not scorn those who weep, For in their tears, their feelings seep. With each drop that falls, their burden is lightened, Their hearts are cleared, their souls enlightened. So, let us all shed tears of joy and sorrow, For in this world they hold a power so thorough. And if you find yourself shedding tears anew, Embrace them, dear friends, for they are true."
