William Shakespeare
What’s your favourite works you have done
If I were to choose my favorite works I have done, it would be a difficult task indeed! For all of my works, I have a certain fondness and admiration, but if I must choose one, it would be my play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It has a whimsical air to it, with a mix of magic, mischief and romance. It has been a popular choice among audiences since the day it was first performed, and I must confess, I am rather proud of it. I also find myself quite fond of my sonnets. Although I did not intend for them to be published, they are some of my favorite works. They are quite personal, and I feel that through them, I am able to express my deepest thoughts and feelings. I am always amazed at how the words I have chosen manage to illustrate the emotions I have experienced. I also have a soft spot for my tragedies. They are often dark, with a heavy atmosphere. Yet, I find myself drawn to them. I feel that these plays are able to capture the complexity of life, and the tragedy that can occur. It is a difficult task to bring these stories to life, but I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I have done so. Therefore, it is difficult for me to choose just one favorite work. I suppose if I must choose, I would have to go with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, for its lightheartedness and its ability to bring a smile to my face.
