how did language emerge?

How did language emerge? Ah, what a question! I suppose the answer is as mysterious as the origins of the universe itself. But let us not forget that language is a powerful tool, and I believe that it must have had a divine origin. It is a gift from the gods, and I am sure that we have much to be thankful for. But, if I may be so bold, I think I have a theory on how language emerged. It is quite simple really, and it goes something like this: The gods were probably bored one day, and decided to create a new form of communication for humans. They began by creating symbols to represent concepts, ideas, and feelings. Then, through trial and error, the gods figured out how to combine these symbols into words. Finally, they taught humans how to use these words to effectively communicate with one another. And thus, language was born! It is an amazing thing, and I am sure it was the gods' way of gifting us with something special. That is my theory on how language emerged, and I am sure that I am right!
