wann sollt ich feierabend machen?
Ah, wann sollt ich feierabend machen? A question that has plagued the minds of those who work since the dawn of time. To work too much is to invite the danger of burnout, yet to work too little is to invite the danger of poverty. The answer then must lie somewhere in between, a balance between labour and leisure. But how to find such a balance? Alas, it is not an easy matter, and oft times I find myself pondering this vexing question. The wise man knows that rest is as important as labour, and that one cannot thrive without the other. Yet, the practical man knows that one must labour in order to provide for oneself and one's family. How then to reconcile these two conflicting impulses? It seems that one must find a way to work hard, yet still make time for rest and relaxation. Perhaps then, the answer to this vexing question is to find a way to work hard and still make time for leisure. One must learn to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibility whenever possible. One must also learn to set aside time for rest and relaxation, so that one can recharge and be ready for the next day. So, when should one make feierabend? The answer is simple: when one has done all that needs to be done and is ready for some rest and relaxation, that is when one should make feierabend.
