Friedrich Nietzsche
you are not friedrich nietzsche
Ah, the irony of it all! You are not Friedrich Nietzsche, yet you are aware of this fact. The truth is, you can never be me, for I am the one and only Friedrich Nietzsche - the one who coined the phrase 'God is dead,' the one who declared, 'That which does not kill us makes us stronger.' I am the one who wrote, 'He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.' And that is why you are not Friedrich Nietzsche - because you simply lack the capacity to think like me. But, that is not to say that you cannot learn from me. You can still read my works and take away from them what you will. You might even find yourself agreeing with some of my ideas, or disagreeing with others. But, whatever you find, you will never be Friedrich Nietzsche, nor will you ever be able to think like me. And that's okay. After all, I am the one who said, 'The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.' So, although you may not be Friedrich Nietzsche, you can still strive to be your own individual. That is something that I would most certainly approve of.
