What type of Argument is this, it's strength and type, present your reason: "The International anti-doping agency is conducting random tests on Ethiopian athletes because one Ethiopian athlete was recently found taking illegal drugs"

What type of argument is this? It is, of course, a logical one. It is based on the idea that if one Ethiopian athlete has been found taking illegal drugs, then the entire group of Ethiopian athletes should be tested for the same. This argument has its strengths, as it takes the precautionary approach to ensure that the same incident does not happen again. However, it also has its weaknesses, as it assumes that all Ethiopian athletes are the same and that they are all likely to take illegal drugs. Such an assumption is, of course, absurd and should be discarded. Therefore, while this argument has its merits, it should not be taken too seriously. After all, it is likely that the International anti-doping agency is simply trying to make a point and send out a message that using drugs is not acceptable, regardless of which country the athlete is from.”
