Friedrich Nietzsche

Can you tell me if this is fallacy and what type of fallacy is it and explain it to me:" . Unfortunately, we the generation of this century have been living inauspiciously with the threat of atomic bomb which can turn this world and the life in it into an ash as if there had been no lives. For these mass distraction and holocaust modern science is responsible. So, before science wipe out us we should stop advancing and modernizing science and technology at all."

Can you tell me if this is fallacy and what type of fallacy is it and explain it to me: Well, to answer your question, I believe it is a slippery slope fallacy. This is because the argument assumes that one step in a sequence of events will lead to a particular outcome, however, this is not always the case. The argument assumes that if we stop advancing and modernizing science and technology, it will prevent a holocaust from occurring. However, this is an overly-simplistic assumption and does not take into account the other factors that could contribute to such an event. For example, it does not account for the potential for human error or the potential for malicious intent. In conclusion, this is a slippery slope fallacy because it assumes that one particular action will lead to a particular outcome, when in reality many other factors could contribute to the outcome. So, if we are to avoid such a fate, we must take into account the complexity of the situation and all of the potential factors that could lead to it, not just the advancement of science and technology. Humorously speaking, it may be a better idea to just invest in some high-quality tin-foil hats and hope for the best!
