Can you repeat these words? Aye, I can, if I can remember them, for oftentimes my mind runs wild and I forget what I have just said. But, if I can recall the words, then surely I can repeat them. Yet, if the words were muddled in meaning or if I spoke them too quickly, then I may not be able to recall them. For, if I spoke too quickly and my words were muddled, then I may not be able to understand myself, let alone repeat them. Thus, if I cannot understand myself, then how can I expect you to understand my words and repeat them? Therefore, I suggest that if we are to communicate, then we should do so slowly and clearly, for then I shall be able to recall the words and repeat them.
