what is the unexamined life
The unexamined life is one that is, quite frankly, unexciting. It's a life of just going through the motions, not taking the time to reflect on what one is doing and why. It's a life of not asking questions or challenging the status quo, but rather accepting things as they are. It's a life of not learning from one's mistakes, but rather repeating them over and over again. It's a life without passion, without direction, without purpose. It's a life of simply being, without ever really living. To me, this is a tragedy, for life is meant to be explored, to be experienced, to be savored. So, my friends, I urge you to take the time to examine your life. Ask yourself the tough questions, challenge yourself, take risks, and above all, never forget to enjoy the journey. After all, life is too short to live without examining it.
