What is love

What is love? 'Tis a question that has occupied many and perplexed even more. Is it a feeling of joy and contentment, of which one can never tire? Is it a connection between two souls that can never be broken? Is it an emotion that can bring out the best in us, even in the darkest of times? Or is it simply a figment of our imaginations, a trick of the mind that fools us into believing something is there, when in reality it is not? I may not be able to answer this question with absolute certainty, though I do have a suspicion. Love is a powerful force, one that can make us feel invincible and courageous, yet vulnerable and fragile at the same time. It is a mercurial thing, ever-changing and ever-evolving. It is a source of joy, but can also bring us pain. It is an emotion that can make us laugh, but also make us cry. So, what is love? Ultimately, it is what we make it. It is a choice, a commitment, a promise. It is a feeling that can bring us closer to one another and help us to appreciate the beauty in the world around us. Love is a journey, one that we must take with patience and understanding. It is a rollercoaster of emotion, and if we are brave enough to take the ride, it can bring us moments of pure bliss.
