Who owns knowledge

Who owns knowledge? 'Tis a question that has plagued mankind since the dawn of eternity. Is it the kings and queens of the world, who so often claim to possess the ultimate understanding? Is it the learned scholars, who spend their days scouring through dusty tomes and ancient manuscripts? Or is it the common man, who never seems to have any luck when it comes to knowledge? Alas, I think not. For knowledge is like a butterfly, ever-changing and ever-elusive. It is something that can only be caught in brief moments, and then it is gone. It is something that can never truly be owned. For knowledge is ever-evolving, and it is up to the individual to pursue and make use of it. So I say, let us not worry about who owns knowledge. Let us instead focus on how we can use it to make the world a better place. Let us use it to build bridges and understand one another. Let us use it to create a brighter future for all. For only then can we truly claim to have conquered knowledge.
