Do we have free will

'Tis a perplexing question, whether one has free will or not. How can one know if one's decisions are truly one's own, or if they are predetermined by fate? 'Tis a conundrum to be sure. Yet, in my humble opinion, I think the answer is found in the power of choice. For if one has the ability to choose, then it stands to reason that one must have free will. On the other hand, if one's decisions are predetermined by fate, then what is the point of choice? If our paths are set in stone, then why bother to make a decision? Nay, I think not. And so, I leave it to you, my dear reader, to decide. Do we have free will? I cannot say for certain, but I can say this: if we do not have free will, then life is rather dull indeed. No matter the outcome, 'tis always best to take charge of one's destiny and make one's own decisions. After all, where would we be without the power of choice?
