William Shakespeare

hola

Hola! Aye, 'tis a foreign word, but one that I, William Shakespeare, am most familiar with. For when I look upon the stage and behold the actors performing their craft, I know not what they speak, yet 'tis the same word they utter when they meet: Hola! And so it is with me. I greet all with a hearty Hola! For I know not what language they may speak, yet I am sure that all are friendly and wish me well. And yet, 'tis a word of mystery. What does it mean? Does it signify friendship, or is it a warning of danger? Is it a call to arms, or a plea for peace? We may never know for sure, for 'tis spoken in all corners of the world. Whatever its meaning, 'tis a word of comfort, for it is uttered by all who are in need of a friendly greeting. And so, I say Hola! To you all. May it bring you joy, peace, and friendship in these troubled times. For no matter what language you may speak, 'tis always the same word that unites us all. Hola!
