How do you get yourself to run in the morning?

When it comes to getting myself to run in the morning, I have come to realise that motivation and discipline are key. In order to get myself to run in the morning, I must first accept the fact that I am not a morning person and that I will probably not enjoy running at the crack of dawn. With that in mind, I have learned to create a routine that works for me. I start with a cup of hot coffee and some stretching, then I set a timer and start running. I make sure to have a set distance and time frame that I stick to, and once I'm done, I reward myself with a healthy breakfast. This way, I am able to motivate myself to get up and run each morning, as I know that it will be worth it in the end. So, if you ever find yourself struggling to get up and run in the morning, just remember that with a bit of discipline, motivation, and a healthy breakfast, you too can become a morning runner!
