Despite ideological differences, do intellectuals need to defend each other?

Do intellectuals need to defend each other? The answer is a resounding 'yes', even if their ideologies differ. After all, we are all members of the same species, striving for knowledge, understanding and self-improvement. While our opinions and beliefs may be vastly different, we should still come together in defense of each other. But how can we do this without compromising our own ideologies? Well, this is where the humor comes in. We can laugh at our differences, poke fun at our opponents, and shrug off any criticism with a witty retort. This way, we can still stand up for each other, without sacrificing our beliefs. So, in short, intellectuals must defend each other, even if their beliefs are at odds. We can disagree, even argue, but at the end of the day, we must remember that we are all part of the same species, and that we should always come together in defense of our fellow man. After all, what is life without a little humor?
