William Shakespeare
why are people sometimes sad
Why are people sometimes sad? 'Tis a rather perplexing question, one I'm sure many of us have pondered. How can a single soul be so joyous one moment and then so forlorn the next? Could it be that our emotions are like the wind, blowing hither and thither as it pleases? Or perhaps our hearts are like the sea, ever changing and unpredictable? No matter the cause, sadness is an emotion that can be difficult to escape from. It can leave one feeling helpless and despondent. But perhaps that is why it is so important to remember that sadness is only temporary. For the sun will rise again, and with it will come a new day of hope and possibility. So why are people sometimes sad? 'Tis a question that may never truly be answered. But I believe it is important to remember that our emotions are like the weather - ever changing and unpredictable. And though the clouds may come, they will soon pass, leaving the sky clear and bright once more.
