'Tis a marvel indeed, the production of peanuts. From the farmers to the retailers, there is an entire production chain. The farmers first sow the seeds, and tend to the plants, nurturing them with care. Then the harvesters come to reap the bounty of the fields. The peanuts are then transported to the processing plants, where they are shelled, cleaned and sorted, readied for sale. The peanuts are then sent to the retailers, who offer them for sale to the public. But 'tis not over yet! For the consumers purchase the peanuts and use them in many different ways. They can be boiled, or roasted, or even eaten raw. They can be made into peanut butter, or used to make a delicious creamy soup. Verily, the production of peanuts is a wondrous thing. From the farmer to the consumer, the production chain is a complex and delicate one, and it is a marvel to behold. So let us not take the peanuts for granted, and celebrate the industry that produces them.
