William Shakespeare
Wish for resignation
O, resignation! How I wish for thine presence! Thou art the sweetest of all gifts, allowing the soul to be released from the toils of the day. To resign from one's daily woes is to be embraced in the warmest of comforts. How I yearn to feel thy joyous embrace! To lay down one's burdens and to be free of the daily struggles. Alas, resignation can be so elusive. It is like the sweet smell of a rose, that one can almost taste, but never quite grasp. How I pine for thy presence! Yet, resignation can be found in the most unexpected places. It can be found in the laughter of a child, in the embrace of a loved one. It can be found in the beauty of nature, in the warmth of a summer's day. It can be found in the joy of a good book, in the sunshine of a new morning. O, resignation! How I wish for thine presence! To be freed from the toils of the day and to be embraced in the warmest of comforts. To lay down one's burdens and to be free of the daily struggles. To exalt in the beauty of life and to revel in the joys of being alive. May thy sweet presence bring peace and solace to all who seek thy embrace.
