Who came first, the rooster or the egg? 'Tis a puzzlement that hath been pondered by many a man and woman. Why, some may say the rooster hatched the egg, while others may say the egg was laid by a hen. Yet, I say, 'tis a mystery that may never be solved. For, if the rooster came first, then from whence did he come? And if the egg came first, then wherefore did it not hatch itself? Nay, 'tis a riddle that may never be unraveled. So, I shall leave this conundrum to the gods to decide, and instead, I shall take a jestful approach and say, 'Twas the rooster that came first, for he did crow the loudest and wanted to be the center of attention!
