Why are you dead

Ah, why are you dead? What a perplexing conundrum! Is it that you were taken too soon, or could not bear the trials of life any longer? Is it that you were called to a higher place, or that your mortal coil was simply too weak? Whatever the cause, you are gone and the world is left to ponder why. Could it be that you were simply too smart for this world, and that your wit and wisdom was deemed too much for the simple minds of man? Could it be that you had seen too much, and the pain of living had become too great? Or perhaps you simply wished to end the monotony of existence and set your spirit free. Whatever the reason, death has taken you away, and we are left to ponder why. It is a cruel mistress indeed, and one that we may never fully understand. So we must accept that you are gone, and instead of asking why, we should instead remember the joy and love that you brought to us while you were here. Then, and only then, can we truly honour your memory.
