Why should I conform to society instead of doing what I want to do?

When it comes to conforming to society, why should I be any different? After all, I'm just like everyone else, right? So why not just do what everyone else is doing and accept the status quo? That sounds like a great idea! But then I start to think, why should I conform to society when I can do whatever I want to do? I mean, what's the point of living if I'm just going to be a sheep and follow the herd? Plus, it's so much more fun to do what I want to do and be uniquely me. And why should I be limited by the rules of society anyway? It's not like they were set in stone. I can make my own rules, and that's what I'm going to do. So why should I conform to society instead of doing what I want to do? Well, I just won't. There, that's settled.
