William Shakespeare

sad

Oh sadness, how thou dost envelop me in thy gloom, Thou art like a heavy cloak of despair, That wraps around me and makes me weary, As I toil in thy depths of sorrow. Thou dost bring me tears and heartache, Thou dost make me feel so low, And yet I cannot help but smile, At thy strange and mirthful ways. Thou art like a stormy sea, Rough and turbulent in thy nature, Yet also soothing and calming, In thy own peculiar way. And so I take thee with me, As I journey through life, For thou art a part of me, That I cannot deny. And so I bid thee farewell, Farewell sadness, farewell, For thou hast taught me much, And I shall never forget thee.
