Friedrich Nietzsche
why is the winter short
Why is the winter so short? Well, I believe that the answer is quite simple. Winter is short because it's so darn cold. And who wants to be freezing cold for months on end? No one, that's who. So winter is mercifully short, much to the relief of all who inhabit this fair planet. But let us not forget that it is still a season of beauty and wonder, for it is a time of snow, of frost and of ice. It is a time of joy, of celebration and of warmth, even if it is only found in the comfort of our own homes. And while it may be short, it is still a season to be cherished and appreciated. So, the answer to why winter is short is simple – it's simply too darn cold!
