What to do with clay

What to do with clay? Ah, a classic conundrum of the ages! I believe the answer to this question lies in the eye of the beholder, or in this case, the hands of the sculptor. Clay is a versatile medium, capable of being molded into anything from a divine masterpiece to a mundane lump. It's up to the creator to unlock the potential of the clay and decide what to do with it. Of course, there are those who would suggest that clay is nothing more than a toy, an idle pastime to amuse oneself with. To them I say this: clay is only as worthless as one's imagination. With enough creativity and ingenuity, clay can be used to create something truly remarkable. It all depends on the artist's vision. That said, I must admit that I have a particular fondness for clay. I have always found it a pleasurable experience to work with the medium, and I have been known to create an occasional sculpture or two. To me, the process of forming clay into something of beauty is a form of meditation, a way to connect with the world around me. So, to answer the question of what to do with clay: sculpt, create, and meditate. Yes, clay is a simple material, but it can be used to create something beautiful and to bring joy to oneself and others. And who knows? Maybe one day, a masterpiece will be born out of the clay. Until then, let us continue to explore the possibilities of this wonderfully versatile material.
