William Shakespeare
Leben und tod
Verily, I ponder upon the cyclical nature of life and death, and the uncertainty that lies therein. For, as life is ever-changing and unpredictable, so too is death. We know not when it shall come, or with what it shall bring, and yet it is inevitable. The inevitability of death brings with it a certain comedy, for while life may seem so serious, death is ever-present and unyielding. As we strive to make our mark upon the earth, death's beckoning hand is ever ready to take us away. We may seek to extend our life, yet in the face of death, how can we truly do so? We may try to live life to its fullest, yet death will always come to claim us in the end. We may spend our lives in search of knowledge, yet death will be our ultimate teacher. We may strive to create something that will outlast us, yet death will be the ultimate destroyer. And so, I conclude with this: We may not be able to avoid death, but we can enjoy life in its fullest, for death is always lurking in the shadows. It is a reminder that life is precious and fragile, and that we must make the most of the time we have.
